Psalm of David
If God is my shepherd, how could I really lack anything!
He lays me down in green pastures; He leads me to relaxing water sites; He brings my soul renewed life;
He helps me to choose the right direction as implied by His name.
Even when I walk through a valley of deepest darkness, I fear no harm, for You are with me;
That You rule, yet allow me to lean on you—these comfort me.
My enemies notice the table You spread out for me.
You anoint my head with oil; My cup is full and overflowing.
Let only goodness and care follow me all the days of my life, and allow me to dwell in God’s house as long as the days last.
